We guide skitouring from our base on Senja, which has unbeatable skiing and amazing views to the sea and mountains. We are also very familiar with Lofoten, Narvik and Lyngen if this is where you want to go.
The winter in northern Norway starts in December, around the same time as the sun disappears, and the polar night starts, which gives us a continous twilight for five hours. In the evening the northern lights takes over the show and this is the reason why locals call it the season of colour. With a headlamp we still go out for great skiing, skinning up in the dark to get the twilight on our way down. In the end of January the sun is back, and the days keep getting longer, until May. The skiing season is long and varied, and every month has its own charm.
