We offer avalanche courses where we work through the necessary and basic knowledge for safe travelling in the mountains. We also arrange advanced courses.

The course includes route planning, terrain, snow knowledge and group management. We also train on search and rescue, map reading, reading and understanding avalanche and weather forecast and using those for planning a safe tour.

We recommend a 3 day course, but can also arrange it over 2 days. Normally it will be held in the Skjomen area, and possibly one day in the ski resort in Narvik, but we are flexible and can travel to your area for courses. Upon request we can offer accomodation in Skjomen at a reasonable prize.

Price for an avalanche course is 1500 NOK per person per day. Max 6 persons per instructor.
