Bergbjørn Lodge

We offer accomodation in magical Skjomdal in three different cabins. We offer a package with either dogsledding, husky wagon, hiking with husky, avalanche courses, climbing courses and ski guiding. Have a look under each activity for a complete prize, or contact us for an offer! All accomodation includes a basket with dinner prepared by a chef, and breakfast, that you can heat and prepare yourself. Bed linen is also included. The road goes to all of the cabins and the bus stops not far away if you prefer not to drive yourself.

The Old House
The Old House is from 1860 and is a timberhouse right by the river, with a view of Elvegårdsfjellene. The house does not have electricity or running water, and the toilet is outdoors. The furniture is old and to some extent original, and the heat is woodfired oven where you also heat your meals. We offer accomodation in the Old house during summer, June-September.
This is a travel in time in a unique house, a true experience.

Grønvoll Cabin
The cabin is a classic norwegian cabin and has electricity and running water and woodfired oven. It is situated just by the river with a fantastic view towards the mountains. On the terrasse there is a bath tub, and you find the toilet in the annex 20 m away. The cabin is perfect for a couple.

Holmenes House
Holmenes house was built in the 60s by the owners of the Old House when they wanted a more modern living. It still proudly bring back the memories from the 60s and has a kitchen, livingroom, bath and 3 sleeping rooms. The house is remote by the river with a nice view over the mountains.
We offer accomodation here the whole year.
